The use of drugs that were thought to be safe and marketed as medicine and given to the public but are now known to be harmful. In the 19th century there was a limit on the way doctors would cure the sick. There was a shortage of medicine and the doctors didn’t possess the large amount of drugs we currently have. With these limitations the drugs that were given to the sick was not necessarily safe to consume.
What different types of drugs were marketed to the public in the Chinese and European cultures in the 1800s that were thought to be safe but are now known to be dangerous?
Scope Of the Research
The essay will give an explanation about what unsafe drugs were taken. It gives more insights into the people who are at the risk of becoming even more sick with the medicine. Secondly, the essay will give more insights into the history of unsafe medicine between 1800 and 1900 AD and how it spread to China and the European territory. It will cover the reactions of the Chinese cultures towards the drugs and its unhealthy nature. Also, it will give more insights into the reaction of European cultures towards the drugs and its unhealthy nature. Then, it will compare and contrast the reactions of the Chinese and European cultures towards 19th century medicine and it’s dangerous effects.
In this research proposal, different sources will be used.The resources will be retrieved from the library and online sources.The resources will be used to support a research thesis.Some of the sources are listed in the Bibliography.
Indeed, the proposal paper comes in different levels of complexities and in different sizes. Coming up with a clear timeline helps an individual to keep on track and prepare, research, write, and complete the proposal within the specified time. The timeline of this proposal will be as follows. In the first week, a simple work plan will be drafted. Secondly, the resources that will be used in the essay proposal will be identified. Thirdly, the literature review will be undertaken to identify different concepts that will be applied in the proposal. Thirdly, the introduction part will be written. In the second week, the research problem, hypothesis, research questions will be written. Also, the literature review will be done this week. In the third week, the findings, theoretical framework, and the conclusion will be written. Also, the article will be thoroughly proofread and formatted to fit the predetermined criterion.
